Rental Period and Payment

• The minimum rental period is one (1) month.

• Rent must be paid promptly on a weekly basis.

• A daily penalty of £5.00 will be charged for late payment.

• Maximum 4 days of tolerance for late payments. After this period, the bike will be collected by BR E-BIKES.

• If payment is not made, the bike will stop functioning within 24 hours and will only resume operation once payment is received.

• The contract automatically renews unless you notify BR E-BIKES one week in advance of your intention to return the bike.

• Re-renting the bike is prohibited.

• Deposit funds cannot be used for rental payments.

Responsibilities and Liability

• The renter is responsible for the proper care and use of the e-bike.

• Any damage due to misuse will be the renter’s financial responsibility, including but not limited to:

  • Flat tires

  • Structural damage

  • Scratches

  • Loss of keys or ignition control

  • Broken racks, indicators, mirrors, pedals, and lights

• In case of theft or loss, the renter is liable for the full value of the bike (£2,100).

• The e-bike must always be locked using the factory-fitted anti-theft system when not in use.

Security and Tracking

• All e-bikes are equipped with a tracker for security purposes.

• In cases of non-payment or significant delays, BR E-BIKES reserves the right to retrieve the bike.

• If the bike is stolen, the renter must contact BR E-BIKES immediately to activate recovery procedures.

Accidents

• In the event of an accident that is not your fault:

  • Take clear photographs of the accident scene.

  • Obtain full details of the driver involved for potential claims.

Maintenance and Repairs

• Routine maintenance, periodic servicing, lubrication, and adjustments are included in the rental fee.

• Any defects not caused by misuse will be repaired immediately.

• Each bike is equipped with a pizza box, phone holder, and hand guards for convenience.

Returning the Bike

• You must provide at least one week’s notice before returning the bike.

• The bike must be returned clean. If returned dirty, a cleaning fee of £10.00 will be charged.

• The bike must be returned in good mechanical condition.

Legal Compliance and Usage Guidelines

• Renters must comply with all UK traffic laws.

• E-bikes are not permitted on pavements or motorways.

• Helmet use is strongly recommended for safety.

• When riding at night, lights and reflective clothing must be used.

Data and Privacy

• The bike tracker collects location data solely for security and operational purposes.

• BR E-BIKES complies with GDPR and does not sell or share your personal data.

Assumption of Risk, Waiver, and Release Agreement

Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that renting and riding an e-bike involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Personal injury (including serious spinal or head injuries)

• Death

• Loss of or damage to property

I confirm that I am in good physical health and have no medical conditions that prevent me from riding an e-bike. I accept full responsibility for any injury, damage, or loss that may occur while using the bike.

Waiver and Release

In consideration of renting an e-bike from BR E-BIKES, I hereby release and discharge BR E-BIKES, its affiliates, directors, agents, and employees from any liability, including but not limited to:

• Injury, illness, or death

• Damage to property

This waiver includes any claims caused by the negligence of BR E-BIKES. I understand that if injury, illness, death, or damage occurs while renting the bike, I waive my right to make a claim or file a lawsuit against BR E-BIKES.
