Common Questions

Do I need a driving licence?

No. Our e-bikes are classed as EAPCs (Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles) under UK law. If you're 14 or older, you can ride them legally on UK roads without a licence, insurance, or road tax. Top speed is limited to 15.5 mph as required by EAPC regulations.

How do weekly payments work?

Rent is paid weekly by direct debit from your bank account, auto-renewing from your collection date. At onboarding you pay the first week's rent plus a refundable deposit (equivalent to one week's rent). The deposit is returned when you end the rental in good condition.

What's included in maintenance?

Full in-house workshop servicing at New Cross or Carshalton — brakes, drivetrain, electronics, battery health. Parts and labour included on all rentals. Punctures and tyre damage are the customer's responsibility.

Can I end my rental early?

Yes. After the 30-day minimum rental period, you can end your contract with 7 days' written notice. Your deposit is refunded provided the bike is returned in good condition with no unpaid balance.

Where are your branches?

Two locations in London: New Cross — 237 Lewisham Way, London SE4 1UY (07449 920165). Carshalton — 130–132 High St, SM5 3AE. Both open Mon–Sat, 09:00 to 18:00.

What happens if the bike breaks down?

Message us on WhatsApp or call the branch — we'll arrange a swap or repair the same day where possible. Most issues are fixed in our in-house workshop by our mechanics.
